Hi, I’m Austin

I’m a senior at the University of Washington majoring in Human Centered Design and Engineering.

Outside of school I like to explore the vast facets of art. Currently, poetry has taken a hold on me, as I enjoy playing with rhetoric and seeing how I can express my thoughts through rhyme schemes. I thought a poem would help me best describe my passion for design, so I hope you enjoy the flow down below!

Design is what lets me thrive, as I love to create and express words through rhyme. I’m fascinated by the fact that anyone can design, so I want to work with different people to see what’s on their mind. Perspectives shift from every individual, I want to bring my own, and learn from others when I am able. As I enter the field of UX and UI, I aim to develop a worldly eye, where I can better empathize with those I direct my design, and reach out to groups hidden from society in a guise.
